Self-Advocacy Training
In this program, students learn how to describe their individual learning styles to teachers, employers and peers. They gain self-knowledge, confidence and a sense of empowerment – all crucial to achieving success. A portion of this process is dedicated to organizational strategies that can be “templated” and re-used in other areas. This program is particularly useful for students with Learning Disabilities and/or ADD/ADHD, as it is essential that these individuals be able to explain their strengths, weaknesses, and specific needs to teachers and schools in order to receive the accommodations and support they require for academic success.
Includes:
- 4 one-hour sessions, usually delivered over a month
- small group OR one-on-one lessons available
Multi-Sensory Touch Typing

This method reinforces learning through all senses, and is particularly useful for individuals with Learning Disabilities, and those with written expression difficulties.
